Garth Borovicka graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 2002 with at BFA in Photography. He has spent the last decade self-employed learning the ropes of business by trial and error, starting an art handling and delivery company with a 1986 Ford Econoline van. Now, ten years later, he has come full circle by applying the lessons learned in business to his processes as an artist. He has a soft spot for traditional black and white gelatin silver prints and spends at least an hour each month thinking about photography’s place in today’s digital world . He has yet to publish a book but makes some pretty cool bookends, The Bookends of the Earth.
