Book By Its Cover

Ines Christine Geisser

Ines Christine Geisser is always trying to do too many things at the same time. This makes her a little crazy but not unorganized. She just loves what she's doing. She's an illustrator, comic and animation artist. You can see her work here, here and here. Quite often she works with her younger sister Kirsten Carina. Together they are "kiin" and they are doing a quarterly zine as well as animations. Her love for beautiful books comes from a period in her life where she lived in Leipzig, Germany. There she worked as a bookbinder for an association where children can write and illustrate their own stories. This was so inspiring for her that she decided to draw and tell stories herself. Since then she has kept going to bookfairs and different comic events looking for the most beautiful books. Here she presents some of them.
