Nikalas-
I’m curious by what you mean–”The 60â€™s were a decade when childrenâ€™s books really were created by artists…” Do you feel that children’s books aren’t created by “artists” anymore? I’m interested to know why you favor this 1960 decade’s era of children’s books versus the current. You say “gentle”- in what way? Do you mean simpler and more graphic is style? I know you are part of the current children’s book world, having published so many kid’s books yourself, so I find that strange that you would make that comment. Please tell more!
