My good friend Jess just came back from a business trip to London- lucky girl! She brought me back these amazing coloring books. These coloring books aren’t giving you big thick line drawings where you are advised to color only inside of the lines. These coloring books are pages of pre-drawn dresses and outfits but without the people in them! You complete the scene by drawing in the people. Then you can also color them in. The drawings in these books are lovely and delicate. Different books have different themes. I have Rosie Flo’s Games and Rosie Flo’s Gardens so the outfits relate to those. Games has dresses made of crossword and jigsaw puzzle patterns and slot machine fruits. There are chess piece dresses and dresses that look like marbles. Each one is so clever. The gardens book has mostly flower inspired dresses but there are also gnome outfits and vase dresses. These are definitely any little girl’s dream coloring book-so fun! But what about the boys you ask? Well, they also make Johnny Joe’s Colouring Book with illustrated sport’s team, circus, and deep sea diving outfits. Check out their website to see some samples of finished, colored in pages by kids. They almost look like contemporary art.
