this is beautiful….would have loved reading this for my boys when they were younger (10 & 13…bet they would still love it ). the fact that there isn’t an obvious lesson or moral makes it even more appealing and i think my kids would have thought so, too…they always resented being taught a lesson by their picture books! you’re right about the heavy influence this style from the 60’s has on todays design, it was just too good to be put away for long.
