thanks so much for the introduction to this illustrator and the wonderful site with all the book covers, I have just spent way too much time but quite happily peeking through the pages of the books they have there, so many wonderful illustrations! I’m kinda glad I don’t understand the language so I can’t order any of these beauties, my pocketbook would suffer here!

I love the way books from the late 50s and early 60s have limited colour palettes like that. and I love a story where the moral is that its ok to be lazy! you wouldn’t get parents reading THAT to their kids these days! great find, thanks again…
