Japanese Postcard Books Week

That is definitely not the correct title of this postcard book. It is the only thing written in English on the cover. Someone please translate for us! These postcards are adorable. They look like they were made with some kind of crayon type drawing tool. Each one seems to be a drawing of a Japanese phrase. Underneath the Japanese are the English translations which are strange but sweet. My favorite is “the place where you and I separate” which a drawing of two characters back to back pointing in opposite directions. Or “the machine which assembles only the elite” which is a drawing of an alien spacecraft beaming a man up. Also “a different brother” which is two characters holding hands wearing the same thing but one has a bear head and one a more human head. This book is made by the same company as yesterday’s book. Again, I can’t find any info on the artist. sad.

Lovely. With my limited japanese knowledge, my guess is the title text reads “Smile Time Postcards”.
