I do not remember Veronica. I do not rmeber the book having 2 stories. Why was the man in the tree suit spying on them?

The Three Little Horses. We had this book as children [sisters] and have been trying to figure out the name of it for years. We absolutely loved the book too! We did not remember that the book flipped over to another story, however. When the horses dress as girls or princesses, we thought that was the BEST part!! Many happy memories ……

The Three Little Horses. I had this book as a child from my grandparents. Nothing bizarre about it to me. My fav book from childhood. Very imaginative writing. Love it!

i had this book, it had been my mom’s i think, for it was worn when i had it, and the cover had come loose, but i absolutely LOVED the artwork in it.. today , because of your site i have solved the mystery of my long lost world. i have to agree with sarah above .. “tree suit”? i used to just STARE a tthat picture! thank you soooo much for posting it here!

Thanks for the tip. I got this on Bookmooch for my daughter and it’s great. The stories are bizarre; I wouldn’t worry that if you read them they will “explain the illustrations away.” Particularly in the case of that tree suit; the reason for it raises more questions than it answers!
