It’s been so exciting these past couple of weeks-I’ve been getting so many books sent to me for review- thanks everyone. One of those surprise packages was from the a really cool company Blue Q. They are the people behind Dirty Girl soap and a whole bunch other great wacky products with really well-designed packaging. They also have a new line of the world’s smallest coffee table books. They send me a whole handful of them but this Labs with Abs really stood out from the bunch. How hilarious is this? Dedicated to Mambo, this little book of drawings by artist Andrew Jeffrey Wright is full of studly dogs in seductive poses. One dog is pouring water out of his dog dish down his muscular stomach, another leans against a fence chewing straw. It’s perfectly bizarre. The book is nicely printed on a bunch of different colors of matte cardstock paper and on the first two pages the drawing is embossed.
