Book By Its Cover

Some of the illustrations in this book are quite stunning delicate paintings. Others are really weird collages. All in all this book is a great reference for fashion illustration styles over many decades. I am particularly fond of the 1960s and beyond but there are a few really stunning 1900s fashion advertisements that bring to mind the graphic patterned filled work of Aubrey Beardsley. Also included are some of my favorite more well-known contemporary fashion illustrators- Ruben Toledo, Jean Philippe Delhomme, and Graham Rounthwaite. You can get a copy of this book right here.

This looks really interesting, i am a fashion designer student and this sort of things are always inspiration for when trying to sort out what the support of the clothing will look like when drawn.

This looks like a great book…not just limited to certain styles of illustration
