Book By Its Cover

Lou Andrea Savoir

I’m really excited about this book. I happen to have a few patterns in it and so do a lot of my favorite independent designers- Caitlin Keegan, Lena Corwin, Amy Ruppel, Deadly Squire, Steve Harrington, Mike Perry and Dan Funderburgh (I put one of mine on the home page-a little shameless self-promotion). Each designer’s pattern gets a full page and our applications go on the opposite page. It’s really a nice set up because you see the details of the pattern flat and then get to see it how it changes once on the form. The applications of the designs are on a real range of products from clothing to housewares to wallpaper to furniture. Patterns on everything- just the way I like it. The designs are arranged by color so you can flip through the book and see a rainbow of pattern. It also comes with a cd of all the designs. Pick up a copy here.
