Book By Its Cover

Petra Schmidt, Annette Tietenberg, Ralf Wollheim

I do love patterns as most of you know. So a book full of huge glossy photos displaying patterns used in all different ways is a definite purchase for me. It’s a real mix of applications from wallpaper to paintings to apparel. But my favorites are the patterns in architecture. They really help to create unique space. I love when the pattern is cut out and shadows of it are cast in skewed dimensions. This book is big and thick and full of a lot of superstars- Karim Rashid, Bruce Mau, Gerhard Richter for example. It’s pretty much all pictures so it’s perfect book to sit on your coffee table especially since it has such a pretty cover. You can get it here.
