Bowie Style

Every day I check Print & Pattern blog to see the latest trends in surface design. It’s one of my favorite blogs and a super source for inspiration on pretty pattern designs, cute characters and generally girly designs. Well like so many other blogs (BBIC is next!), P&P has now put together a book based on the blog. It’s a big sourcebook of amazing patterns from her favorite designers that have been featured on the site. Many are my favorites too including Sukie, Orla Kiely, Sanna Annukka, Helen Dardik, Heather Moore, Mike Lowery, plus I am a contributor too! The design of the book is quite nice- for each artists she has created a monogram based on the cover typeface. It even mixes in a little bit of their design into the letters. This book is a must have for anyone interested in pattern design. Get a copy here.
