Book By Its Cover

So excited about this new book from Princeton Architectural Press! It’s a collection of letterpress examples from the late nineteenth century which includes gorgeous ornaments, corner fills, borders and type treatments. I am a huge fan of this era of design where the rule seemed to be the more fancy stuff, the better. The sixty “specimens” featured are mostly advertisements for printers showing off their best. Type enthusiasts, letterpress lovers and pattern people beware- this book causes lots of drooling. Get a copy here.
