Book By Its Cover

11.9.10

I only had time to quickly stop by the NY Art Book Fair this year and rush through the crowds to take pictures. I did take a lot of pictures, but I sadly didn’t really get a chance to look at anything closely or buy anything. The show seems to grow exponentially every year and in return generates more and more people. Even in the last hour it was open it was so packed you had to squeeze through crowds of people in some rooms. Below are my images (in no particular order) to give you an idea of some of the amazing stuff that was there. If anyone saw any stand out incredible books, please share in the comments below:

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh. There is a whole fair just for art books!?!?! Why do I live on the other side of the world where there is not such thing? Why?

I didn’t have time to see the whole fair, but I did fall in love with this one book that I couldn’t resist buying:

The cover and back cover are what initially drew me in (both Ann Woo photographs), though content is exquisite as well.
