This book is not the Andy Warhol you know. There are a few soup cans(of course they had to put one on the cover) and drawings of shoes and christmas ornaments you may have seen in one of those tiny books they sell on bookstore counters. Otherwise this book is full of almost naive drawings of all different subjects from people to maps to flowers to male private parts. My favorites are in pencil but I do like those blobby ink lines too. I found this book for cheap at the Strand bookstore which is the most enormous used bookstore in NY. I just checked their site for this book though- seems they have four pages worth of Andy books but not this book anymore. I suppose I got it years ago(the jacket has already started to yellow) and it may be slightly harder to find now. Amazon sellers are charging too much so hopefully you’ll find it somewhere by accident like I did.
