Fleet Street Scandal is Kevin Dart and Chris Turnham and this is their first book. The duo decided after being friends, roommates and co-workers to team up since even though their individual styles were different, their work complimented each others.Their work is so painterly yet it’s all made on the computer in Photoshop or Painter. Amazing! And although there’s no original paintings, the two sell prints of all their works from their site here. Some are even limited edition silkscreens. This hardcover book has all of these images reproduced in nice big pictures. I love Kevin’s movie posters and pulp covers- very 60’s and 70’s inspired. Chris’s work is sweeter- the architecture in the drawings are my favorite with lots of cute detailing and each image seems so thoughtfully composed.
