review by Jess Rosenkranz This book lives at work (I work at the toy company, remember?), where its many rainbows and ice cream and balloons and hearts and demonic-zombie-sumo-wrestlers-eating-hamburgers-with-topless-ladies inspire me. Cute. Disturbing. It’s an strange pairing, but the colors are incredible, almost as if the whole book has been printed in some alternate printing process where the inks are made of sherbet. Buy it here. Just keep it away from the kiddies, who will be drawn to the glittery embossed pink plastic cover like moths to a porch light, kind of like I was… |
