This is another book I bought at the NY Art Book Fair a couple months ago. This book was originally published as a letterpress edition of 300. But a second edition of 1000 is printed by the French publishers Le Dernier Cri. The cover wrap is silkscreen and there are inserted vellum pages. The rest is Jonathan’s black and white drawings with bits of red. Jonathan Rosen is a frequent contributor to Blab! and his compelling, often dark work can also be seen in Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow in the journal of Ichabod Crane. For more about Jonathan check out his website.
