Loyal magazine celebrated its fifth year by publishing their first book. It showcases more than 20 contemporary artists including some of my very favorites- Matt Leines(of course), Joe Hart, Jules de Balincourt, Jockum Nordstrom, and Taylor McKimens. It’s nice to see so many good paintings, drawings and photos in one book. It also has semi-ridiculous interviews with the artists where they ask questions like: “If you were a bowling pin, would you be easy to knock down?” or “Where are you on the Highway of Life?” I’m not sure what I learned about each artist reading their answers, but I think it was something.
