I like Nara&#039;s work although not &#039;love&#039;, but everyone has an individual style, particularly in this case the &#039;mean-spirited&#039; vs cute element which appeals to the young and rebellious market.</description>

While I agree that Nara&#039;s a bit overrated, I do really like his work (especially this book and the book From the Depth of My Drawer).  I think my favorite thing about his work is that he often makes use of found paper.  Lame defense...I know.</description>
