This collaged envelope is not actually titled Goodie Grab Bag but that’s what it is. It’s an untitled collaged envelope full of hand-colored etchings and silkscreens by artist Molly Colleen O’Connell. I ran into her table she shared with a few friends on my last go around at MOCCA. They were selling all kinds of pretty things- etchings, silkscreens, little books, and dvds. I was surprised by the amount of more non traditional comics at the festival this year. There were quite a few tables of independant artists with handmade comics and little artists books which I am always drawn to. Over the next few days you’ll see why. And Molly’s envelope grab bag was quite a steal at fifteen dollars. In it came six small prints- all very framable and a one of a kind collage. Molly is still a senior studying printmaking at MICA.
