Caroline Hwang

I got to briefly meet illustrator Caroline Hwang at the Brooklyn Comics Festival last month where I bought this little zine from her. The beautiful little handmade book opens like a matchbook and the pages are sewn in. It’s a sad love story about trying to make a relationship work. I’ve always liked Caroline’s work especially when she mixes her mediums adding fabric and embroidery into her illustrations.
