On Evah’s website she recommends looking at this book in a mirror. I tried, but besides being able to read the front cover the right way, I’m not sure why the mirror is important. Evah’s paintings are often tiny, strange juxtapositions of characters or people and objects with no backgrounds. She recently did a print for Tiny Showcase which sold out before I had a chance to even think about purchasing it. You can buy this little xeroxed book from her site for a mere four dollars. It’s 28 pages of line drawings surrounded by patterned shapes that define the space. There doesn’t seem to be a continuous storyline but maybe I’m missing it? Either way, I like this little book and you will too, so, get your copy here.
