Zeroten has a new handmade zine out. He says “The zine is based on a new mock cult ‘The Spooky Channel’ of which I am the leader. And the work looks at aspects of this: the mixture of pleasure, belonging, power and fear.” The book is entirely full color, the palettes are bright and interesting. I am most excited about his work when it mixes collaged textured elements with flat color and pencil drawings for detail. The zine also comes with a cd which you should totally listen to while you look at his images. This “audio collage” brings his images to life, with weird rings, buzzes, static and digital sounds mixed over strange indecipherable radio voices, chanting, and samplings of old timey music.
