The author of the blog Cartoon Brew put together this collection of the art of 1950s animations. I was always looking for a book that chronicles that 50s look of limited flat colors mixed with line drawings. Amid goes through each animation house and its animators’ history alongside photos of sketches, character designs, stills and timing sheets.
