This little book is only two dollars(!) at Cinders. It’s designed by Keith Shore and written and illustrated by Calef Brown. It’s seven funny poems and portraits of random personalities including Betty Crocker, Tupac Shakur and Trent Lott. The best part is on the last page of every book, an edition of 500, Calef drew a little drawing and signed and numbered it. What can you get for two dollars that’s better than that? Calef is one of my favorite children’s book illustrators but he also illustrates for all the major publications like Time, Rolling Stone and The New Yorker. Check out more of his work here.
