You know, I bet we all have a book or two in our collections that could be photographed and sent in for your perusal: post-it-if-you-like-sort-of-thing. I can’t imagine an author/illustrator objecting.

Hi Julia!
I have been a reader of this blog for years, a really silent one though, because I hardly ever write any comments. Although this blog became really silent, I kept coming back, because the old posts were fantastic (and there wasn’t anyone else with a similar taste and blog about books who would have been a real alternative option).
I am so excited that this blog is supposed to come alive again and I am really looking forward to this. However I am a bit sceptical about the “new look” and the “new features” etc. – I think the old blog was just fine and I enjoyed it’s simplicity! Let’s see what will hppen here in the next months, though :)
