Today is Friday-yay! I thought I’d post something fun. I got this book as a gift from my friend Jessie (who happens to be in a really great comedy troupe) a few years ago. It’s a book of real patents that author Richard Ross found in the archives of the U.S.Patent Office along with the original diagrams the inventors made. There’s some really weird stuff like a kissing shield(sort of like a fan you hold up in front of your face that you can kiss someone through) or the decorative penile wrap (a tube like structure decorated with snowman or hearts). There are even lap dance liners. Those are some of the tamer ones. I like the serious drawings with arrows and numbers explaining these contraptions. Everyone has that wacky friend who loves a gag book like this (i guess I’m that friend.) You can learn more about this book here along with other patent based books Richard wrote.
