The Pictorial Guide to Sexual Intercourse

This past weekend my friend’s threw me a bachelorette party since this Saturday I am getting married. One of the many fun games they had planned involved an underwear bag. Each friend contributed a pair of underwear and I had to reach in pick it out and show the pair and then guess which friend gave it to me. Well instead of underwear one of my friends had added this lovely book copyright 1970. It’s an all pictures guide to over 100 sexual positions with small descriptions that give helpful tips. I really love the photographs. They are soft focus and very brown. Some of the photos show motion so you see ghost images of the person as they move up and down etc. I think it’s funny that so many of the positions are just slight variations to the missionary position- a small leg shift, or where an arm falls. It seems so tame and beautiful compared to the stuff I’m used to seeing. I’m not sure where you can get this book now besides the Amazon seller who’s selling it for $65, but I still had to share my new treasure.

Just a note- I may be missing posting here and there this week and the beginning of next since I have this um wedding thing.

I truly hope you have a great marriage.

Sharing your space and time with somebody else can be difficult but when two people trust and respect each other, living together is the sweetest thing.

From the bottom of my heart I wish you and your significant other great happiness(not the Todd Solondz one) but the one that gets illustrated and then reviewed by you for the rest of us who love and appreciate a one of a kind life in a one of a kind book.

in 1970 or 1971 i was a 10 y/o and got an ad for this book, my mom saw it and tried to tell me that these woman were dead as no woman would ever do anything like this.

Here’s a link to a story I posted on my blog about finding this book. So funny, and had no idea anyone else knew about this. Now I know how important this publication was in 1970. Amazing, and I also think the photos are quite lovely.
