Oh, I adore Jill’s work! I have one of the stationery sets she did for Chronicle books and love it! The confidence in her work is amazing, and the lines are so beautiful.

The sketchbooks look great, and you really get the sense that she’s using them to work through ideas. While many of the pages look like nearly finished drawings, she’s also seems to be using it as a way to record/organize her thoughs, rather than just making a book of small illustrations.
